Live Fast Play Dirty Motorsports was founded by Jerry Daugherty and his wife Christie Daugherty. Jerry Daugherty, his son Aaron Daugherty, and hired driver Patrick Clark. Jerry Daugherty ran in the Pro 4 class, Aaron Daugherty ran in the Pro-Lite and Pro 4 class, and Patrick Clark ran in the Pro 2 class. Jerry Daugherty was sponsored by E3 spark plugs, Magnaflow Exhaust, and Dixiel Choppers. Aaron was sponsored by the Gun Vault, and Tuff Country. Finally Patrick Clark was sponsored by Budweiser and Loan Mart. Each of them raced under a different sponsor, but all under the same team.

Racing Backgrounds
Jerry Daugherty came from a long background of competitive racing. He placed 3rd in the Baja 1000, raced in Nascar, more desert races, and stock car racing. Aaron Daugherty grew up going to races with his father, helping him work on the trucks, and eventually became Jerry’s codriver in desert races. The father and son pairing went on to win 3 races, and earn 10 podium finishes in the Lucas Oil Off-road Racing Series.
